For some reason over the last week, 2 Rita's that have popped up & caught my attention in a big way!First is the wacky and wonderful Rita Ackermann. Hungarian-American artist & fashionista. I've always dug her personal style & her work is inspiring!
Second was the classic Rita (played by Julie Walters) from the movie Educating Rita. She's a brash working class hairdresser seeking an education from an alcoholic professor (played by Michael Caine). Can't believe I'd never watched it!! Best line:
"Christ! My customer! She only come in for a demi-wave, she's gonna leave looking like a flippin' muppet!" CLASSIC!
